Fundraising & Pledging
  • Each team will have its own online fundraising page connected to the Get on Your Bike! event page on the Canadian Cancer Society website.
    • The team page will be identified by the team’s name and all team members will be listed in the description.
  • Each participant is encouraged to direct their “pledgers” to the team page in order to donate online.
    • If desired, during the online donation process pledgers will be able to specify in a comments field the particular teammate for whom they are contributing.
    • All online donations over $25 will be automatically issued a tax receipt available for immediate download.
  • Each teammate will be able to view the overall team fundraising status (for online donations only) at any time.
  • Teams can also collect funds manually by downloading and printing out the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Donation Form .
    • Please bring completed donation forms and all funds raised manually to the event check-in desk.
    • Alternatively, forms and donations may be dropped off in person at the Canadian Cancer Society office located at Suite 230 – 3689 East 1st Avenue Vancouver BEFORE November 29th, 2009.
